Award at Suisse Tier 2025: The “Control Dossier” module wins the Innovation Prize

The Suisse Tier 2025 in Lucerne opened its doors on Friday, 21 November — and the event began with a highlight right from the start: The Control Dossier module in the barto digital farm manager received the Innovation Award. We are very pleased about this recognition, as it honours a solution that delivers real benefits to everyday farm management. It also shows that innovation in agriculture emerges when technology, practical relevance, and expertise come together.  

A major step forward for organic farms

We are especially pleased that the Control Dossier has been further developed and is now also available for Bio Suisse and Demeter certification requirements.

This means that organic farms can now benefit from a digital, practical and inspection-ready solution that simplifies the preparation process for farm inspections. Many farmers know the situation well: annual inspections are part of the job — but they often involve considerable administrative work, stacks of pagperwork and time pressure. This is exactly where the digital Control Dossier makes the difference.

Developed together

The Control Dossier was developed through close collaboration between Barto AG, bio.inspecta AG, and AGRIDEA, with the technical implementation carried out by the farming development team at Bison Schweiz AG. The combination of inspection expertise, digital know-how and real practice input was key in creating a tool that is both modern and suitable for everyday farm work.
