Climate. Digital. Practical. – bio.inspecta at Tier & Technik 2026
Together with our partner Barto, bio.inspecta took part in Tier & Technik in St. Gallen. The focus of our presence was the new World-Climate Farm Tool module, successfully integrated into the Barto Hofmanager app on 19 February 2026. This integration provides farms with a practical tool to systematically record, analyse and further develop their climate performance – fully embedded within their existing farm management system.
On site was Rolf Schweizer, Managing Director of bio.inspecta Romandie and Head of the Climate Team. Numerous discussions highlighted the strong interest in sound yet practical solutions for farm-level climate accounting. In particular, participants valued the ability to integrate climate data into existing digital workflows rather than managing it as a standalone process. This is precisely where bio.inspecta contributes its technical expertise through a partnership-oriented approach.
Tier & Technik (19–22 February 2026) provided the ideal setting for this exchange. With around 35,000 professional visitors and more than 550 exhibitors, the event once again confirmed its role as a key innovation platform for Swiss agriculture. Core topics such as digitalisation, automation and “Agriculture 4.0” highlighted the sector’s dynamic development, showing how closely data-driven solutions and sustainability considerations are now interconnected.
For bio.inspecta, the trade fair was above all a valuable opportunity to present the World-Climate Farm Tool in direct dialogue with practitioners and to support farms in taking the next step towards climate-conscious agriculture.
Our sincere thanks go to the organising committee of Tier & Technik for the successful delivery of the event, as well as to our partner Barto for the constructive collaboration and the opportunity to present the World-Climate Farm Tool in close exchange with the agricultural community.
