World-Climate Farm Tool (WCFT) integrated into the AgroImpact platform to simplify climate assessments for farms

Together with AgroImpact, bio.inspecta supports farms in assessing their climate impact and identifying concrete measures for improvement. The World-Climate Farm Tool (WCFT), developed by bio.inspecta, is now integrated directly into the AgroImpact platform, making climate assessments simpler and more efficient for participating farms.
Below you will find the press release published by AgroImpact.
AgroImpact is now making the World-Climate Farm Tool (WCFT), developed by bio.inspecta AG, available to farms, enabling them to prepare their climate assessment directly online.
This marks a step towards reducing the administrative burden associated with climate assessments. A reliable and effective tool is designed to make it easier for farms to get started with assessing their climate impact.
“Our role is to provide farmers with efficient and reliable methods for climate assessments that are easy to use. We are very pleased to be able to offer this together with our partner bio.inspecta.”
Aude Jarabo, Director of AgroImpact
In practical terms, the tool enables participating farmers to save time and reduce their administrative workload. A farm’s climate assessment can now be completed within just a few hours.
In the first year, the farm’s climate assessment is carried out with the support of an advisor, who explains how to use the tool either on site or online. In subsequent years, farmers update their data independently in the tool. Once the data have been entered and verified by bio.inspecta AG, farmers receive a comprehensive overview of their farm’s climate impact.
Based on this information, they can identify opportunities for action and define measures to improve their initial climate assessment, either with the support of an advisor or independently. They can then access AgroImpact’s financing platform.
“A good climate assessment depends on the quality of the data. It is therefore essential that data are collected carefully, checked for plausibility and calculated according to a clear methodology. This is precisely where we apply our many years of experience working with farms – ensuring that the results are robust, transparent and useful in practice.”
Ueli Steiner, Managing Director, bio.inspecta AG
This creates a forward-looking model that combines environmental impact with economic benefits and positions agriculture as an essential part of the solution to climate change.
