Review “Lebensmitteltag 2026” – Exchange, insights and perspectives

On 23 April 2026, the Schweizerhof in Lucerne once again became a meeting point for professionals from the food sector. Together with our partner SQS, bio.inspecta contributed to an event that once again impressed with its broad range of topics and high professional quality.

The “Lebensmitteltag 2026” offered participants a valuable platform to explore current developments and engage with key challenges facing the industry. Topics ranged from traditional questions related to food safety and hygiene to innovative approaches and technological trends such as automation and robotics.

The diversity of perspectives from science, authorities and practice proved particularly enriching. Among other things, discussions highlighted how the role of food has evolved over time and what this means for building a sustainable food system in the future. Regulatory developments also played a central role. Insights into the ongoing efforts to strengthen cooperation with the European Union illustrated the increasingly international nature of food safety, while also underlining the continued importance of national specificities and quality standards.

For us personal exchange was at the heart of the event alongside the technical content. The many conversations with participants and partners once again confirmed the value of platforms like the Lebensmitteltag for networking, knowledge sharing and orientation.

We would like to thank all speakers, participants and partners for their commitment and are already looking forward to the next edition.

A photo recap will be available here in the coming days.

Save the date: The next “Lebensmitteltag” will take place on 15 April 2027.
