UrDinkel

The UrDinkel brand was registred in 1996 by the Interessengemeinschaft Dinkel (abbr.: IG Dinkel, spelt interest group). UrDinkel guarantee that their spelt originates from the traditional growing regions and production farms and is sourced from IP-Suisse and Bio Suisse certified farms. Only Swiss heritage spelt varieties are used which have not been crossed with wheat.

IG Dinkel is committed to the organic production of Swiss heritage spelt varieties in the traditional growing regions. Regional processing and short transport routes are central to this. Checks for compliance with the PureSpelt production specifications (Pflichtenheft UrDinkel) can be integrated into the annual farm inspection. Combined inspections save time and money.
